Mahindra Alturas G4 will come loaded with 9 airbags, 3D 360 degree camera, dual-zone FATC, 8-way adjustable driver seat
Mahindra Alturas G4 is going to be the next big launch from the homegrown automaker. Based on the SsangYong Rexton, the big SUV was showcased at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo and grabbed everyone’s attention. It will compete with the Rs 30 lakh segment models like Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour etc. Also, the SUV will come loaded with host of high-end technologies and features.
Mahindra also aims to launch a first-in-category loyalty program, the Purple Club+. What’s more interesting is, Mahindra will sell this SUV through an exclusively new dealership network. Speaking about thre high-end features the Mahindra Alturas G4 will receive, it will have 3D 360 degree camera, dual-zone FATC, 8 way adjustable driver seat with memory function, 9 airbags, ventilated seats, active rollover protection etc.
So far, Mahindra Alturas G4 will be the most luxurious car ever built by the automaker. As the brand claims, the Alturas G4 will redefine the high-end SUV segment with its appearance. Mahindra has been the strongest player in the Indian SUV segment for quite long time with its range of powerful SUVs. With the upcoming aggressive looking Alturas G4, the brand aims to take the game one notch up.
The Mahindra Alturas G4 will be powered by an all-new 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that will generate 178 bhp of peak power and 450 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty will be done by a 7-speed automatic gearbox sourced from Mercedes-Benz.
