Mahindra will hike pricing of Marazzo MPV by up to Rs 40,000 from January 2019
Mahindra Marazzo is going to be dearer from January 2019, by up to Rs 40,000. As the homegrown auto manufacturer says, the pricing at which the MPV was launched was introductory and it is going to be revised. With this announcement, it seems, now is the right time to purchase the Marazzo for the interested customers. Currently, the Mahindra Marazzo is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).
The MPV comes inspired by the shark’s silhouette. It appears very aggressive looking and the MPV has been pitted against the rivals like Toyota Innova Crysta and upcoming new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga as well. Based on an all-new ladder frame chassis, the Mahindra Marazzo comes with some unique design and technical elements. Its engine has been positioned transversely, which is an unique feature.
The MPV comes offering a premium feel inside the cabin thanks to its design and features. It is spacious and comfortable for the occupants. Also, there are captain seat options for the middle row passengers. The touchscreen infotainment system, airplane inspired AC are the attractive features inside the cabin of this MPV.
Powered by a new 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, the MPV kicks out 120 bhp of peak power and 300 Nm of peak torque. Transmission dduty is done by a 5-speed manual gearbox. Unavailability of an automatic gearbox is a minus point for the car, but Mahindra promised to introduce an automatic unit later. Mahindra Marazzo returns an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 17.6 kmpl.
