Tata 45X will launch in India in August 2019, will challenge Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20
Tata Motors is on a spree of bringing impressive products. The automaker is ready to rock 2019 with interesting cars like Tata Harrier and Tata Aquila. The latter one is the premium hatchback based on Tata 45X concept that was displayed at 2018 Delhi Auto Show. Test mules of the upcoming car have been spied testing and images of Tata 45X interior too have been leaked. Expect the Tata 45X price in India to be very competitive.
The Tata 45X interior will come loaded with premium features. These will certainly make the hatchback appealing. The upcoming car will compete with rivals like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20. As it appears, the homegrown carmaker has made the hatchback closely in line with the concept version. Adding zing will be features like a squarish semi-digital instrument cluster with blue accent. This will be available in the upcoming Tata Harrier as well. It will get a digital display for rev counter and driver information.
None of the B-segment hatchbacks in India come with such feature. Also, there will be a dash-top touchscreen infotainment system like Tata Nexon. Tata Motors promised us that it will bring refreshingly new products carrying its Impact 2.0 design language. The hatchback will get projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights and LED taillights etc.

The Tata 45X will replace the slow-selling Tata Bolt upon launch. Tata Motors is keen to grab a large chunk of the passenger car segment in the country. The brand already has successful products like Tata Tiago and Tata Nexon on sale. Also, there are models like Tata Tigor and Tata Hexa. These cars are priced pretty interestingly. Expect the Tata 45X price also to be very impressive.
Christened as Tata Aquila, the upcoming Tata 45X will be available in both petrol and diesel options. There will be a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel motor as well. Expect the hatchback to carry an AMT alongside the 5-speed manual gearbox.
