The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Ignis comes with improved safety feature and a couple of cosmetic updates. It boasts reverse parking sensors, speed alert system and passenger side seatbelt reminder. Apart from that, the Zeta and Alpha variants now come with roof rails as standard.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift was launched with a host of design tweaks and feature updates. The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Ignis doesn’t get that many significant updates. In the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno and WagonR, Maruti Suzuki has introduced SmartPlay Studio. However, the 2019 Maruti Suzuki Ignis doesn’t get that. Ignis was launched in India focusing the young generation urban customers. Despite its unusual and eye-catching design, the Ignis also gets some class-leading features. However, it couldn’t fetch the desired sales result so far.
Speaking about the price hike in the new model, the base variant of the Ignis is available at Rs 4.79 lakh, while its previous pricing was Rs 4.67 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently, the top-end trim comes priced at Rs 7.14 lakh instead of Rs 7.05 lakh (ex-showroom). So, the pricing has been increased marginally. With this update, the 2019 Maruti Suzuki Ignis can grab the attention of the buyers and fetch a bit improved sales result in coming days.
