Datsun RediGo now comes in 5 variants, three 0.8 liter and 2 are equipped with a more powerful 1.0-liter engine
The Japanese car manufacturer Datsun has launched an updated version of their most affordable car Datsun RediGo in the Indian market. New Datsun RediGo complies with the latest regulations of car safety. The Company also discontinued two variants and now just five variants are on sale.
The price of base 800cc variant is Rs 2.79 lakh and the top variant with 1.0-liter engine and AMT gearbox is priced at Rs 4.37 lakh ex-showroom. New pricing saw a small hike on the base and mid variants while the hike is negligible on the top-end variants.
The Datsun RediGo received driver airbag, rear parking sensor, high-speed warning, and a seatbelt reminder. Further, the ABS and EBD were added into the car last year in November 2018. The high-speed warning will beep once in minuter while driving above 80 kmph. The warning system will continue to beep once the speed is past the 120 kmph mark. However, the beeping will stop as the speed falls below 120 kmph and 80 kmph respectively.
