Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain is the estate version of the very popular E-Class sedan.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain is the next big launch in India from the German luxury carmaker after C-Class facelift. The estate version of E-Class is launching here on 28th September and it will make Mercedes’ India portfolio more dynamic for sure. Upon launch, the estate will challenge the Volvo V90 Cross Country.
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain will be available in India in the E220d version only. Speaking about its design, the luxury estate gets identical styling elements as the latest E-Class sedan. There are dual fin radiator grille with the three-star logo at centre, tri-part bumpers with dual-tone paint scheme. Apart from that, black wheel arch covers, black side skirts and 19-inch alloy wheels are there adding more masculinity to the car.
Dimensionally, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain rides 29mm higher than the standard sedan. The air body control suspension ensures a smooth and very comfortable riding experience to the occupants. Speaking about interior, the estate shares a lot with its sedan sibling, while the space on offer is enormous. There are a dual-tone paint scheme everywhere inside the cabin. Dashboard gets a large touchscreen infotainment system that is complemented by dual pod instrument cluster with a large MID. The centre console features a large touchpad just like the S-Class. So far, the car shows off top-notch luxury from every single inch.
Speaking about its power source, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain gets energy from a 2.0-litre OM654 four-cylinder diesel engine. Mated to a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic gearbox, the engine churns out 191 bhp of peak power and 400 Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to all the four wheels using 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.
