2018 Isuzu MU-X facelift gets LED daytime running lights, new 18-inch alloy wheels and six airbags.
2018 Isuzu MU-X facelift has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 26.27 lakh (ex-showroom) with mild updates inside out. While the aforementioned pricing is for the 4×2 variant, the 4×4 variant comes priced at Rs 28.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2018 Isuzu MU-X facelift gets new LED daytime running lights integrated to the headlamp cluster, restyled bumpers, updated taillights with LED inserts, bigger 18-inch alloy wheels etc.
While the exterior has received the above mentioned changes, inside cabin, the 2018 Isuzu MU-X facelift comes with couple of updates that enhance its style and practicality. It boasts soft-touch materials on dashboard adding premiumness to the car. Also, there are new quilt-pattern leather upholstery, roof mounted fold down LCD screen, rear armrest with cupholders etc.
Keyless entry, power adjustable driver seat, cruise control are the other features you find inside the cabin of the 2018 Isuzu MU-X facelift. Six airbags add more safety to the car alongside its sturdy body structure. Previously, the Isuzu MU-X was offered with dual front airbags only. Speaking about power source, the updated Isuzu MU-X comes with a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine coupled with a 5-speed automatic transmission. This engine churns out 174 bhp of peak power and 390 Nm of peak torque as well.
The Isuzu MU-X competes with tough rivals like Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour. Offering a 5-years warranty and 5 years of free periodic maintenance with the 2018 Isuzu MU-X facelift certainly adds bit of extra appeal to the car. The brand is hoping to see higher sales number with the updated version in coming days.
