Datsun Go and Go+ facelifts will launch in India on October 9 with a host of updates inside out.
Datsun Go and Go+ facelift models are gearing up to be launched in India on October 9, 2018. Both the hatchback and the MPV will arrive with a host of changes at exterior and inside the cabin. The facelifted versions of Datsun Go and Go+ will arrive as more appealing and upmarket compared to their current versions. They have been designed following the brand’s philosophy to offer more feature loaded cars in India to lure the buyers.
As both the updated Datsun Go and Go+ have been already launched in couple of South-East Asian markets, they have received features like LED daytime running lights, a revised front grille with plenty of chrome garnishing, updated bumpers at front and rear. Inside the cabin, both the cars offer a touchscreen infotainment system, refreshed upholstery and new paint scheme as well.
Adding a new touchscreen infotainment system to both cars could play a key role in adding premiumness to the Go and Go+. Also, expect both to come with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD as standard in order to comply with the upcoming emission norms. Both of them will be powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine churns out 67 bhp of peak power at 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.
Despite being present in Indian market for quite some time, Datsun is yet to taste the success. Combined, the Datsun Go and Go+ sold 450 units on an average between April-August 2018. The sales figure is expected to rise in coming months thanks to the facelift versions of these two models. As Datsun promised, it will focus more on technology and premium features to increase its market share in India, the upcoming 2018 Datsun Go and Go+ have been designed following that strategy only.
