New-gen Hyundai Santro will be available for booking from tomorrow at Rs 11,100.
New-gen Hyundai Santro has been finally unveiled in India after a long wait. Ahead of the car’s official launch on October 23, the South Korean brand uncovered it giving us a complete look at the much awaited hatchback. Honestly, the car appears worthy of the wait and hype. The new generation Hyundai Santro is not only fresh looking in design, but in terms of features as well.
The hatchback has been designed keeping Indian families in mind. No wonder, it is going to throw challenge to the Maruti Suzuki models. It promises a noise free cabin with very low NVH, while the strong body structure ensures safety for the occupants. A rigid and highly capable suspension ensures superior ride quality. The 17.64 cm MirrorLink touchscreen infotainment system comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto adding premium feel to the cabin. It gets class leading air conditioning and segment-first rear AC as well.
Speaking about the design, it appears compact and stylish from every angle. Large front grille flanked by sharp headlamps, flared wheel arches complementing the stylish alloy wheels, crisp character lines at side profiles and compact taillights add zing to the hatchback. As the brand claims, they tried to create a masterpiece design following the rhythmical tension styling.
Power source for the new-gen Hyundai Santro will be a 1.1-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. There will be a manual gearbox and it will be also the first Hyundai car to get an AMT. Hyundai will offer 3 years/1 lakh km of warranty with the 2018 Santro along with 3 years of roadside assistance. Also, the interested customers can book the car from tomorrow at Rs 11,100.
