Nissan Sunny Special Edition gets 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with NissanConnect.
Nissan Sunny Special Edition has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The sedan sports a host of cosmetic updates along with some premium features inside the cabin and its arrival ahead of upcoming festive season means, Nissan could expect a sales boost for the car that has not achieved the expected sales figure in India.
Speaking about the Nissan Sunny Special Edition, the sedan sports unique red and black body decal at side profile right below the glass area and at the lower side profile as well. The black roof, blackened alloy wheels and special badge of the car add zing to it. Inside the cabin, the Nissan Sunny Special Edition boasts a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is equipped with NissanConnect. An all-black interior theme enhances its style further with red accents on plush seats.
Thanks to the introduction of the NissanConnect, the Nissan Sunny Special Edition comes with features like geo-fencing, speed alert, curfew alert. Also, the Locate My Car and My Car Location like features along with nearby pit-stop location helps the owner with more convenience. So far, the Japanese auto manufacturer has tried to give the sedan a boost with its new special edition model.
Nissan Sunny Special Edition is available in both petrol and diesel options. There is a 1.5-litre petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel motor as well. The petrol engine is coupled with a X-Tronic CVT, while diesel motor comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Power and torque output of the sedan remains same as the standard Nissan Sunny as mechanically the special edition model is the same as its regular sibling.
