This next-gen Maruti Suzuki WagonR will offer more space and comfort to the occupants along with upmarket features.
The new generation Maruti Suzuki WagonR will boast similar styling as the JDM-spec model. It will come with features like touchscreen infotainment system, projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, ABS etc. New WagonR could get the same engines as the current model, with unchanged power and torque output. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has earned heavy popularity in the country market. Now, the Indo-Japanese automaker is gearing up to bring a petrol version of the compact SUV. The SUV was launched with Fiat-sourced tried and tested 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. Now, adding a petrol engine will enhance its appeal further. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza petrol will launch in mid-2019.
The petrol engine will be the same 1.5-litre K15B unit that works in Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It could get the SHVS mild-hybrid technology just like the Ciaz and Ertiga. The Vitara Brezza petrol could come with a starting price of Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the specifications of the engine could be different compared to the Ciaz and Ertiga.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

This engine is capable of churning out 101 bhp of peak power and 150 Nm of peak torque.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be the brand’s flagship model upon launch. This SUV is already on sale in the European market and it is very popular there. Despite the similarity in name with Vitara Brezza, the SUV comes more aggressive and more powerful. The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara could launch here in January 2020. This will certainly be a very interesting product on the list of upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars in India.
Priced at around Rs 22.7 lakh (ex-showroom), the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be the most expensive model from the automaker. This will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The SUV will get 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel motor. It will be sold through the Nexa retail network. In that case, the Grand Vitara will be the second model to get a 1.6-litre diesel engine.
