Aston Martin Rapide E is claimed to be one of the most exquisite electric supercars waiting to come in the market. What better way of launch for the car than a Bond movie. Bond cars have been always the centre of attention in all the 007 movies. Now, it seems with the Aston Martin Rapide E, James Bond is all set to go electric.
Aston Martin has been the close associate of James Bond franchise for a quite long time. This time too, the director is working directly with the British marquee to get the electric car ready for the movie. Rumour is the Aston Martin Rapide E will be starring in an incredible action sequence. James Bond has been known for driving some amazing cars and this time too we hope not to be disappointed.

James Bond was seen driving the custom-built Aston Martin DB10 concept model in the previous movie Spectre. Now, he will be driving the automaker’s first-ever all-electric production model. Speaking about the specifications of the Rapide E, it draws energy from a twin-motor drive system churning out 602 bhp of power output. Power is sent to the rear wheels.
Aston Martin Rapide E can run at a top speed of 250 kmph with an acceleration capability of 96 kmph. This car will be produced at Aston Martin’s new St. Athan factory in Wales. Interestingly, this same plant handles the assembling of the automaker’s first-ever SUV, Aston Martin DBX. The British marquee is likely to produce only 155 units of the Rapide E.

Apart from Aston Martin, Jaguar Land Rover too is closely associated with the Bond movies. In the next 007 movie, that is set to release on April 8 next year, Jaguar Land Rover will certainly have a significant role with some of their best cars.
