Hyundai introduced the anniversary edition of Santro to attract customers during the Diwali week
The Hyundai Santro small hatchback was launched one year ago in 2018. Now, to celebrate one successful year of the car, Hyundai has introduced an anniversary edition of the Santor in the mid-spec variants. Hyundai Santro Anniversary edition is priced at Rs 5.17 lakh ex-showroom for the Sportz variant. The special edition car is Rs 10,000 more expensive than the regular Sportz variant. Santro anniversary edition is available in both Manual as well as AMT gearbox options.
Speaking about the extra goodies you get in the Anniversary edition, Santro gets gloss black roof rails, ORVMs as well as door handles. Wheels covers, on the other hand, is finished in dark grey for enhanced looks. There is bodyside cladding on the doors, a chrome strip in the rear along with an anniversary edition badge. Only two color options are available in the anniversary edition – Polar White and Aqua Teal. The Aqua Teal color is a new one as it was only available with the i10 Grand NIOS.
Hyundai Santro’s special edition continues to offer only one engine option – the 4-cylinder 1.1-liter unit. This powerplant develops modest 69bhp and 99Nm torque which is quite enough for a car of this size. The engine is paired to either 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox for hasslefree driving.

With this, Hyundai is offering benefits of up to Rs 95,000 on its cars during the festive season. Hyundai Grand i10 grand and the Xcent are the ones that get benefits up to Rs 95,000. For the i10 Grand, the heavy benefits are given mainly to clear the stocks as people are choosing the newer i10 Grand NIOS. Next is the Creta SUV which is getting Rs 80,000 worth of discounts and benefits. The Santro and the Elite i20 are shining stars with up to Rs 65,000 benefits.
Hyundai Tuscon and old Elantra are being offered up to Rs 2,00,000 worth of benefits. The C-segment Verna sedan is attracting the buyers with Rs 60,000 worth of benefits. Newbies like the Venue and the i10 Grand NIOS are not getting any discounts whatsoever but the company is assuring early deliveries of the new cars.
With the festive offer, an additional 4th year extended warranty and Roadside assistance are being given free of cost. These offers will remain active only till the end of this month which will also mark the end of festive season 2019.
