The 2020 Mercedes CLA will debut at the CES at Las Vegas this month, gets the new A-Class like interior
Mercedes-Benz CLA is one of the most stylish looking cars from the German luxury car brand. Now, the automaker has teased the upcoming 2020 Mercedes CLA online ahead of its global debut. The new generation CLA will be unveiled at the 2018 CES at Las Vegas on January 8. It will come retaining some signature design element of the current CLA. But, there will be a host of updates as well.
As the teaser image is seen, the new CLA comes with a cabin that looks like the new Mercedes A-Class. The teaser image hides front grille. Expect the front grille, bonnet, bumpers to come with subtle yet significant changes. There would be new design wheels, restyled LED taillights as well.
The 2020 Mercedes CLA interior will adopt an array of changes to be more appealing. New upholstery, redesigned dashboard, updated touchscreen infotainment system with integrated all-digital instrument cluster will add zing. The luxury sedan will come with Mercedes’ AI based MBUX infotainment technology. The new CLA would offer more space as well, as dimensionally it is likely to be bigger and wider.

The next generation Mercedes CLA will not only be a superior designed version but a technological marvel as well. This is why Mercedes-Benz has chosen the upcoming tech event to unveil the sedan instead of the Detroit Motor Show. The current generation CLA sedan is available in India in both petrol and diesel engine options. New generation model will share its powertrain with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback.

The upcoming new CLA sedan will come offering more power and better performance. Mercedes CLA price in India currently ranges between Rs 31.72 lakh and Rs 77.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Expect the new model to be priced from around Rs 33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). 2020 Mercedes CLA India launch could take place sometime in mid-2020.
