MG developer program and Grant will fund up to Rs 25 lakh to the most innovative ideas for the mobility ecosystem
MG Motors Indian has tied up with various tech companies to launch one of a kind MG Developer Program and Grant for the mobility ecosystem. This new initiative from MG Motors is to create a robust new-age mobility ecosystem in the country. World-renowned tech giants such as SAP, Cognizant, Adobe, Airtel, TomTom, and Unlimit are already roped in by the automaker.
The developer program also brings in TiE Delhi NCR as the ecosystem partner. The company will give the innovators unparallel opportunity in order to secure mentorship and funding from the leaders in the tech industry. Ideas which will be shortlisted will get support for the practical implementation of the idea, business plan and modelling, testing facilities, go-to-market strategies and much more.

Rajeev Chaba, President & MD of MG Motors India said that the automobile industry is currently witnessing sweeping transformation in the field of connected car technology, electric vehicles as well as shared mobility. MG India aims to take this revolution forward with its focus on attaining technological leadership in the automotive industry.
He further said that MG Motors have partnered with the tech giants to provide a way to build innovative applications that would enable unique experiences for customers across the entire automotive ecosystem. This developer program will make about 20 tech companies to mentor the start-ups and helping them to excel in the future.
Initially, the MG developer program will focus on the electric vehicle and components, batteries and management, charging infrastructure, connected mobility, voice recognition, AI & ML, Navigation technology, customer experience, car buying experience, and autonomous vehicles.
