New generation Hyundai Xcent will become bigger and better, to use new Grand i10’s underpinning.
New generation Hyundai Xcent is ready to launch in 2020. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire rivaling compact sedan is expected to become bigger and better than the outgoing one. It will be based on the same underpinning as the next generation Hyundai Grand i10. Expect it to share some components with the smaller siblings, but there will be distinctive design elements for sure.
Compared to the current Hyundai Xcent, the new generation model will arrive with a sharper and more suave styling. It would sport projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, signature Hyundai cascade grille, refreshed bumpers, new alloy wheels and plenty of chrome garnishing as well. We can see LED taillight as well in order to boost the new generation Hyundai Xcent’s premium appeal.
The 2020 Hyundai Xcent will don a revised and upmarket vibe inside the cabin as well. It will have updated upholstery, new steering wheel, dual-pod instrument cluster and a new touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Thanks to the dimensional improvement, there will be more space inside the cabin enhancing comfort for the occupants. Expect more safety features to be there than the outgoing model.
Speculating engine details of the car will be too early now, but we can expect it to share the powertrain with new Grand i10 that is likely to launch next year. However, there will be an AMT for sure, which is ready to debut in the upcoming Hyundai Santro. We will surely see great mileage figure from this sedan.
