Indian market is about to experience some spectacular car launches in October 2018. While some of these will be all-new models, some will be facelift versions of existing models. Now, we will take a look at the top 5 cars launching here in next month. These include the new Hyundai Santro, updated Honda CR-V, Ford Aspire facelift, Mahindra XUV700 along with Datsun Go and Go+ facelift models.

Hyundai Santro (AH2)
Launch Date: 23rd October, 2018
This is certainly the biggest car launch of the year, as the South Korean automaker is bringing back the iconic Santro tallboy hatchback. The new Santro comes with contemporary styling blended with modern premium features. Also, there will be a whole new efficient petrol engine. Not only that, new Hyundai Santro will also mark the debut of the brand’s first AMT.
Mahindra XUV700 (Y400)
Launch Date: 9th October, 2018
Based on the SsangYong Rexton, the Mahindra XUV700 is going to be the next big launch from the homnegrown automaker. It was showcased at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo and grabbed everyone’s attention. Despite being based on Rexton, the XUV700 comes carrying typical Mahindra design theme, portrayed by the aggressiveness. Expect loads of premium features inside the cabin of this car. It will arrive with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine under the hood.
2018 Honda CR-V
Launch Date: 9th October, 2018
This will be the first time, when Honda CR-V will come in a seven-seater appearance. Sporting a redesigned stylish look and carrying host of premium features, the new Honda CR-V SUV would be priced at around Rs 28 lakh (ex-showroom). Power source for the SUV will be a 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel engine capable of generating 118 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. Also, there will be a 2.0-lkitre petrol engine as well.
Ford Aspire Facelift
Launch Date: 4th October, 2018
Ford Aspire facelift is coming early next month and it will sport a revised look through the new grille, updated bumpers, new alloy wheels. The sedan has received a new SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system, just like the Ford Freestyle and there will be a new Dragon series petrol engine sourced from Freestyle only. The Ford Aspire has become more appealing than before in its new avatar.
Datsun Go and Go+ Facelift
Launch Date: 9th October, 2018
Datsun is ready to roll out the facelift versions of its Go hatchback and Go+ MPV in Indian market. Both the models have been launched already in Indonesian market. Both the Go and Go+ facelift come with a redesigned look and they have received new touchscreen infotainment system, updated safety features in order to become more appealing. Facelift versions of the hatchback and MPV will share same engine as well.
